Uniform & Gloves Sailor V's uniform consists of three basic colors: blue, red, and white. The collar and
cuff of her short-sleeves are navy blue with a red stripe and the underside of her sleeves are red. A big, red bow rests
in the middle of her chest and on the center of the ribbon rests a round, yellow gem. The uniform also has white
shoulder protecters which protude out a little past her shoulders. Unlike Sailor Venus's uniform,
V's uniform is a two-piece outfit. Her top and skirt are seperate pieces and reveals her midriff. The upper
chest/breast area is actually also a chest guard made of the same material as the shoulder pieces. While the waist area
is simply cloth colored red on both sides. Her skirt is navy blue decorated with a red trim. Her gloves are
white, cut a little below the elbow, and are yellow-edged.

Base of operations

Command Center Hidden underneath the Crown Arcade is the Command Center, a room filled to the brim
with sophiscated computers and machinery. "Boss" often briefs Sailor V on mission and suspicious enemy activities
in this room and Artemis often uses the center's computers to anaylze/research objects and data.
The entrance to the Command Center can only be opened when one activates the 'Game Endless' mode on the
Sailor V Arcade Game. This is the same Command Center that Sailor Moon and the rest of team will use
in the Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Series.

items
|
Transformation Pen Minako uses a magical pen to transform into her alter ego, Sailor V.
The pen also works as a way for Minako and Artemis to communicate with
"Boss". As it is a magical pen, Minako often uses it to cheat on homework assignments
as it magically writes all the right answers. The pen has a transparent cap with a glowing star on top
and this star extends into an antenna when Minako uses the pen as an communication device.
|
Crescent Compact The Crescent Compact is a very verstile and essential item for Sailor V.
Minako uses the compact as both a weapon and a disguising device. To use the item, she must open the compact
and call out the necessary phrases/words for each attack or transformation. The inside of the compact is a reflective
surface that glows and reveals a person's true identity. When closed, the compact is crescent-shaped and is
decorated by a gem being embraced by a crescent and stars. The back of the compact is unadorned and flat. In
order to charge the compact, Minako must leave the compact open in the light of the full moon.

1. The reason I decided to put parentheses around the word "Moon"
is because the Japanese word for
三日月 (Crescent Moon)
can also be read as "crescent-shaped," which I believe might be a more accurate translation. As I explained in
the
Beloved section, the planet Venus waxes and wanes and can also become crescent-shaped. Therefore
the word
三日月 can be interpreted to not only mean
the Crescent
Moon but also the Crescent
Venus. This makes sense as Sailor V (Crescent phase) is
the
unawakened form of
Sailor Venus (Full phase).
